Nehemiah: How God Renews His People

Many studies of the book of Nehemiah focus on the man Nehemiah. But for as much as Nehemiah is the central human character, the book that bears his name is about God, another instance of God working hard to renew his people. After years of apathy, disobedience, and defeat, Israel had become a far cry from the lighthouse God meant them to be.

So God began doing what God always does: he renewed them. He stirred up and sent Nehemiah to get the job done—to renew his people.

Unhitched

In Unhitched: How God's Church Must Connect to God's Nature, Nate Holdridge will explore how the modern people of God need to hold orthodox views of God—just like Jonah did—but also reflect God's nature to a lost and broken world.

Jonah knew God was gracious and merciful, but he was unwilling to reflect God's character to the nations. Like a train car unhitched from the engine, Jonah was unhitched from God, and he desperately needed to reconnect himself so that he could be a good representative of God to this world.

(un)Reasonable Trust

At the end of the short book of Habakkuk, the prophet said that even if all the crops in Israel were to yield no produce and even if all the livestock in Israel died off, he would rejoice and take joy in God (3:17-18). Even if the earth suffered chaos in apocalyptic proportions, Habakkuk would trust God. God had made him strong, so he would move forward, trusting God despite all he saw (3:19)

Whole-Hearted Work

Christians, just like everyone else, spend a significant portion of their lives in the workplace. But does our work matter to God? Can our work please God? And why is it often hard? Does the Bible have anything to say about doing good work? In the book Whole-Hearted Work, author-pastor Nate Holdridge explains what the Bible says about work, vocation, and career. Beginning with why work matters to God and should matter to us, Nate will carefully explain why work is hard and how, from a biblical perspective, we can do good work, then concluding with a chapter on trusting God while we work. If you are a believer who needs to make the connection between your faith and work, this book is for you.

The No-Nonsense Biblical Man

Men are important. Men matter. God loves to use men. A quick survey of our Bibles and study of our world will lead us to a simple conclusion: men are capable of great good and great evil. In the hands of God, men can be wonderfully used to bless the world around them.

Christ Unites: How Jesus Connects His People to His Purpose

In Christ Unites, Pastor Nate Holdridge takes you on a journey through Paul's letter to the Ephesian church. There, Jesus is seen as the head of the church, the originator of a new humanity designed to carry out His will. Each chapter tackles a different dimension of Christ's work at unifying all things to Himself, at His purpose and plan for His people.

Let Us Hear: Studies On The Seven Letters Of Christ In Revelation 2-3

In “Let Us Hear,” Pastor Nate Holdridge helps the modern church know Jesus through his seven ancient letters found in Revelation 2-3. When these letters from Christ are understood, believers experience transformation.
