Introducing — nateholdridge.com Podcast Show

Often, while running, I pass by someone I know from the community. Occasionally, that person will begin laughing out loud as they take off their headphones. “You won’t believe this, but I’m listening to a podcast sermon of yours right now!” It always makes me smile.

I have enjoyed podcasts since their inception. As a believer, my first podcast memories are of far away pastors’ sermons. I have loved the ability to listen to quality teaching from around the globe. As a leader, I have also grown by listening to various leadership oriented podcasts. As a pastor, I have appreciated the reach podcasting has given me. They have served as a way to extend teaching beyond the walls of our church’s building and into the rhythm of people’s everyday lives. For our small groups, where discussion revolves around the text and teaching of the previous Sunday, podcasting the sermon has been helpful.

Partly because I find this medium so helpful, Riley Manzo and I have launched the NateHoldridge.com Podcast Show. It has been in my heart to provide this ever since I restarted regular writing. There, Riley and I discuss various nateholdridge.com articles, providing a deeper look or more personal take on the content. Riley is a young millennial man I admire, a target of sorts for my life and ministry, so it is a joy to discuss these subjects with him.

If you find this type of medium helpful, I’d like to invite you to listen in. At this point, Lord willing, we will post new episodes every Wednesday night. They range from 25-35 minutes in length, but will take only 17 or so minutes to get through at my preferred 1.5x speed playback rate.

If you enjoy an episode, please share with someone else you think would benefit. Thank you.
